Filled With Love Scrapbooking Layout

This is the third layout for my class on Jan.7th. We will be making this wonderful Valentine's Day layout using the new Filled With Love bundle paper and stamp set. We will also be using the new red glitter paper which I am in love with. If you want to make this page along with the snowman layout and the yellow lattice layout just let me know you are coming so I can have your paper cut and ready for you. The class is at 6:30 on the 7th at my house. It is $20 to make the three 12x12 layouts. New scrapbookers are always welcome.

Valentine Defined Cards

I made these two cards using Valentine Defined. I love the little stretch of hearts. I stamped them in real red then colored over a few of them in pretty in pink. The top one has some punched hearts using the triple heart punch. I put a little crystal effects on the heart on the bottom card to make it pop. I cannot live without my Big Shot. I used the dotted folder and the new framed tulip folder for these cards. I also used Teeny Tiny Wishes, the scallop oval punch, and the two smallest oval punches. Of course I had to add ribbon. I just realized I did not use any rhinestones or pearls. I must be getting sick, lol!

I (Heart) Hearts Valentine's Card

I am tired of Christmas cards. On to Valentine's! This card was inspired by Sandy Hancock at sandystamper.com. I used the new red glitter paper. Oh la la, it is fabulous!! I also used I (Heart) Hearts and Teeny Tiny Wishes. I embossed the hearts and the saying with red craft ink and clear powder. These are on 11/4 circles which are on dimensionals. I used the new Framed Tulips folder and the Big Shot. You are going to love it! The ribbon is  red satin which I used a bit of sticky strip and scrunched the ribbon on it. Tht is a fun technique. The hearts were all punched out with the triple heart punch except for the larger dotted one. I used dimensionals to hold the white tulip frame off of the white card base.

Winter Scrapbooking Layout

I did not quite use all Stamping Up products for this layout. My scrapbookers don't care. They just want to make pages! I have an old snowflake punch the makes small flakes. I used a snowman stamp that I had- you could use Frosty but we used him last year in a class. The tree is from Season of Friendship stamped in early espresso. The wind is the swirly Big Shot die. The snow is torn paper that I sponged with bashful blue. I love the snowman's hat, scarf,  and gloves. They are colored with real red and daffodil delight and popped up with dimensionals. The flakes and the wind are bashful blue. This is another January 7th class layout.

Big Shot Lattice Scrapbooking Layout

These are the scrapbook pages using the same colors as the card I just posted, whisper white and daffodil delight. We are going to make these pages for part of my Jan. 7th scrapbooking class. It takes seven of the lattice cutouts to do both pages. The flower at the top is made from the leftover pieces from the lattice. There are tiny yellow flowers across the lattice that are hard to see here. I used the same punching technique as the card below to make the white centers.  Let me know if you would like to attend the class. We make three double page layouts for $20.

Big Shot Lattice Card

I think this is one we will be making at my January workshop. I am loving the lattice die for the Big Shot. I also used the dotted embossing folder, the scallop punch, the medium oval punch, and the flower from the itty bitty shapes punch set. The ribbon is daffodil 1/8 taffeta. Get Well Wishes comes from Teeny Tiny Wishes. To get the center of the flowers I punched a 1/8 hole in the daffodil paper then I punched the flower shape around it. Pearls look great but I am trying to design for about 15 stampers. Five pearls each is a bit expensive and besides, I am teaching them something different!

Bird Punch Card

When I first saw the bird punch this is what I saw... two birds kissing! This card is whisper white, real red, and a touch of certainly celery. I used the scallop punch for the side lace. The side red pieces are actually the throw away pieces from the scallop punch. I hate to throw good paper away. The heart is the circle scallop Big Shot heart that I also ran through the Big Shot using the dotted folder. The words are from a retired set, sorry.

Big Shot Daisy Card

I think I should have asked Santa for a new camera. The card pictures just don't show the true colors. This one is truly gorgeous in person. The base is whisper white and run through the Big Shot using the dotted folder about half way up . I tied the ribbon around the card, added two celery leaves using the little leaves die,  and two flowers from the daisy die. I used a blue circle brad in the center of the flowers. I used Curvy Verses and black stazon for the words.

Inspired By Nature

Inspired by nature is such a wonderful set.
It makes a beautiful card for any occasion. This time I paired chocolate chip with so saffron and old olive. I used the markers on the rubber technique where you color on the stamp with markers, huff, then stamp it on the paper. Next, I stamped the grass over the top of the flowers after I stamped off some of the color. I used narrow grosgrain ribbon in olive and the scallop punch to finish out the card.

Beautiful Wings

I hope Santa brought you a Big Shot. I can't believe that when it first came out in the Stampin' Up! catalog  I said I didn't want it. I love everything it does. This time I used the dotted embossing folder, the beautiful wings embosslits die, and the scallop rectangle clearlits die. This was simple card to make using whisper white, pretty in pink, certainly celery, and bashful blue. Thinking of you came from Curly Cute. Don't forget to stamp before you run the paper through your Big Shot.

Snowflake Card

Are you tired of Christmas cards yet? This will be one of the last, for now. My goal for 2011 is to have all my cards for next year created before October. The tree is going up the day after Halloween, too. This card was done with whisper white and pacific point. I used the Big Shot and the large snowflake, my new snowflake punch which is so much easier to punch than the old model, and a smaller punch I just happened to have. I also used the snowflake embossing folder which I am almost sure will be a carry over from the mini. The glimmer brads are so wonderful. This time I used a glimmer basic in silver to go with the rhinestones that I adore. Quick and easy! This would make a great thank you card, too. I stamped the words in basic grey. I love the softness of it. It is becoming my new favorite color.

Big On Christmas Scrapbooking Layout

I wish you could see how the large rhinestones add sparkle to the snowflakes. They make a nice layout spectacular! I popped up the tree with a dimensional and added three tiny rhinestones to it. The snowflakes are from the new Northern Frost Big Shot die. They are wonderful! I used real red, whisper white, and green galore which I bought a few spare packs of just for Christmas. Why did they have to retire such great color? We are making this layout Friday night at our scrapbooking class. Come and join us. You will make three double page layouts for $20. The other two are already posted (turkey and ornament layout). I will be glad to make up a kit for you if you can't make it. Feel free to contact me for details.
