Scallop Circle Snowman

I made this the same way the previous scallop circle was made (melon mambo, flower fest). I did have to dig up some old ribbon. I needed it to match his earmuffs. I used the paper crimper on a thin piece of black cardstock so I could scrunch and mold it around the top of his head to connect the muffs. The carrot was hand cut. I sponged around everything that isn't black. I added highlights with a white gel pen. I am just trying to beat the Memphis heat. I don't think it has ever been this bad. 109 heat index. I'm melting!!!!

Rockabilly Scrapbook Pages

Life is bowl of cherries when you get to stamp all day! I created this layout for the Friday, June 10th class. I would love to see you there! Contact me for directions. I can also send you a kit if you can't make it. For $28 (includes shipping) I can mail you a precut and prestamped kit that will include all three double page 12x12 layouts for you to assemble at home. My email is jgalbra@bellsouth.net.

Stamps: none
Ink: real red, old olive
Cardstock: real red, whisper white, old olive
Accessories: Big Shot along with the dotted embossing folder and the scallop circle die and the tasteful trim die, 21/2 circle punch, rockabilly dsp, triple heart punch, boho blossoms punch, 1/4 circle punch, bird punch, dimensionals, white gel pen

I sponged around the edges of the olive scallop circle and the hearts. After I assembled the white flowers I used a the eraser end and pushed them into the palm of my hand. This makes the edges pop up.

On The Grow

This one is beautiful! I used crumb cake, marina mist, and very vanilla. The striped ribbon and flower brad are a quick touch. I also embossed the vanilla with the elegant bouquet folder and rounded all the corners. The frame is the large scallop from the scallop circle #2 die. I also ran it through the dotted embossing folder. I punched the middle out using a post it note and 21/2 circle punch to cut out the center. I used dimensionals to hold it on. Then I punched the flowers out with that same punch so I could drop it into place. I stamped the flowers with black staz-on. I used the aqua painter and the marina mist and old olive classic pads for the flowers, the jar is bashful blue then I painted a crumb cake shadow around everything. I also put crystal effects over the jar to make it look like glass.

Bunny Treat Box

I am so glad we can move on to the next holiday. I was getting tired of hearts. Isn't this bunny adorable? I made him using my Big Shot, the treat box, and the scallop circle die (need 2). I also punched 5 white large ovals (one is cut in half for his feet), 2 pretty in pink medium ovals, and a pink heart from the triple heart punch. His eyes are the 1/2 inch circle punch highlighted with a white gel pen, and his cheeks are the 1 inch circle punch. I used slivers of black cs for his whiskers. The handle is punched from the dotted scallop ribbon border held on with two pink brads. Everything is sponged with pretty in pink. I have a white cotton ball glued on to the scallop circle on the back of the box.
