On The Grow

This one is beautiful! I used crumb cake, marina mist, and very vanilla. The striped ribbon and flower brad are a quick touch. I also embossed the vanilla with the elegant bouquet folder and rounded all the corners. The frame is the large scallop from the scallop circle #2 die. I also ran it through the dotted embossing folder. I punched the middle out using a post it note and 21/2 circle punch to cut out the center. I used dimensionals to hold it on. Then I punched the flowers out with that same punch so I could drop it into place. I stamped the flowers with black staz-on. I used the aqua painter and the marina mist and old olive classic pads for the flowers, the jar is bashful blue then I painted a crumb cake shadow around everything. I also put crystal effects over the jar to make it look like glass.

Sail Away

I love the new mini catalog! This is a single stamp so it is on $9.95. What a deal! I paired it with the words from Best Dad Ever, also in the new mini. Both of these sets are masculine themed. I used our black craft pad stamping the words then the boat. Then I embossed them at the same time using our clear embossing power. I took strips of pacific point, cherry cobbler, and whisper white and taped them on a white base. Then I ran that through my Big Shot using the lattice embossing folder. Then I punched the circles out of cherry using  the round Itty Bitty Shapes punch. I ran Baker's Twine through the punches. I love that stuff! I added the embossed base to the pacific point card after I added the twine.  I sponged the water on using pacific point. I added the stripes on the sail using cherry cobbler and the aqua painter. The boat is mounted on pacific point. I added the cherry tab with silver brads to finish pulling the red through the card. I used dimensionals to attach the boat piece to the base. The colors are striking on this card.

Daisy Mother's Day Card

This was the Mother's Day card I made for my wonderful mom, my grandmother, and my sister. I used the daisy Big Shot die, little leaves die, boho punch, oval punch, scallop punch, dotted embossing folder, beautiful butterfly die, teeny tiny wishes, glimmer brads, and god's blessings. It turned out gorgeous!! It won't fit in an envelope but that didn't matter. I love the daisy die. The color combination is great. I used mambo, turquoise, daffodil, celery, chocolate chip, and white. Sorry I haven't posted lately. I have been getting things together for the Stampn' Success magazine article. That has turned out to be quite a challenge.
