Bugs and Kisses Scrapbook Pages

I love this set. It is on the retiring list so this is your last chance to buy it. We will be using it in our scrapbooking class Friday, June 10th at 7:00. If you live in the Memhis area I would love to have you join us! Contact me for further details about the class. $20 for three double page 12x12 layouts.

Stamps: Bugs and Kisses, Inspired By Nature
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Pacific Point, old olive, basic black
Ink: old olive, basic black, pacific point, daffodil yellow, melon mambo, real red
Accessories: old olive narrow grosgrain ribbon, circle cutter (2 inch), 13/4 circle punch, word window, dimensionals, black marker, ice cream parlor dsp

The worm and the dragonfly are cut out. The rest of the bugs are stamped on. I had to stamp the words twice so I could cut them apart and get pretty even spacing. The bugs were inked with a pad then I used a black marker to add black to their faces, feet, etc. I stamped the dragonfly in yellow, rock and rolled it in blue, then used a black marker on his face and upper body. The magifying glass, dragonfly, and big squares are mounted with dimensionals.

Best Fishes

I love making punch art cards! This one is so simple. I used the 13/4 circle punch and the small scallop punch for the fish body. Her lips are from the  boho blossoms punch. Her fins are the medium oval punch cut down. The bubbles are the 3/4 and 1/2 circle punches. I hand drew on the dots on her body. The eye is a wiggle eye. The grass came from Inspired By Nature. The fishbowl was a circle I cut with the circle scissor plus, the rim is from the word window punch. Best Fishes is best wishes from Short and Sweet- I used a marker but didn't color in the w. I hand wrote an f in its place. I used the medium oval and the oval scallop for the saying. I am missing our old bright colors. She with the most punches wins!!

Inspired By Nature Scrapbooking Layout

We also made this beauty during my last scrapbooking class. Don't you wish you were there? This one is on retired yo-yo yellow. I also used chocolate chip and old olive. We colored on the rubber with markers, huffed, then stamped... a lot. Then we added some butterflies cut out with my Big Shot and the butterfly die that embosses and cuts called beautiful wings. We sponged everything in chocolate, too.

Inspired By Nature

Inspired by nature is such a wonderful set.
It makes a beautiful card for any occasion. This time I paired chocolate chip with so saffron and old olive. I used the markers on the rubber technique where you color on the stamp with markers, huff, then stamp it on the paper. Next, I stamped the grass over the top of the flowers after I stamped off some of the color. I used narrow grosgrain ribbon in olive and the scallop punch to finish out the card.
