Look what you can create with a few Stampin' Up punches, a Big Shot, and some cardstock. Google the owl punch and you can come with tons of ideas to use it for. A few of those ideas are actually owls!

PS I Love You Swing Card

I just watched a video on how to make these swing cards using the Big Shot and the Movers and Shapers die. Now that is cool! Once you get the SWING of it, they are pretty easy! This is one I made using the heart magnet that fits in the window. I used several punches: large heart, triple heart, lace edge, scallop edge, word window, 13/4 circle, and the 1 inch circle. I also used the dotted folder and the scallop heart of hearts embosslit. The set is PS I Love You. I used whisper white and regal rose cardstock, a regal rose pad, and some white satin ribbon. The heart flower center is raised up on a dimensional. Swinging is fun. I am going to use the large scallop square next. Stay tuned!!

P.S. I Love You

When the new mini is available Jan. 4th you will be able to buy this set called P.S. I Love You. It is full of all the love you can stamp! Wait until you see all 15 pieces that come with it. It matches perfectly with the new Hearts Collection Framelits Die and the new Fashionable Hearts Embosslits Die. Do you see the Paper Doily? It will also be available in just a few more days. It is stunning!! I also used the dotted embossing folder, melon mambo ink and cardstock, whisper white cardstock and ribbon, the large heart punch, and a sponge. Love is in the air!!

Filled With Love Valentines Treats

These little treats were fun to make. I found the tiny paint bucket at a large craft store. I tied red, pink, and white ribbon on the hande. Then I cut a one inch strip of white cs and punched down both sides with the heart scallop border punch and taped it around the can. Then I embossed the heart from Filled With Love and used a dimensional to hold it on. I punched a tiny red glitter heart (triple heart punch) and taped that on the embossed heart. I hope SU comes out with glitter paper in other colors soon! For the lid I punched a 13/8 circle, added the words then the hearts, then I sponged around the edge in red. The candy is in a cello bag inside.

I got the idea for the heart from Holly K. at Rubber Redneck. She had the brilliant idea to use the heart shaped treat cup as a candy holder. I simply took off the sticky protector, added the candy (I ate some, too), then stuck the heart to some red cs. Then I cut around the cup, sanded it, punched a hole with the cropodile, and then I added the ribbon with a small oval tag. The words and heart came from Filled With Love. Of course I had to add a small red glitter heart!

Valentine Defined

This is a fun way to fold a card base. It is called a z fold. Cut, score, and fold the base as usual but then score and fold the front flap in half. It is still the same size card with a twist. I used Valentine Defined from the new spring mini for this. I colored on the rubber for the birds and flowers. I stamped the heart vine in red and colored in some of the hearts with a pink marker. I stamped the words in red. When the card is closed the words actually hide under the birds which have been double mounted on the scallop circle punches. I love how they fit inside each other. They are mounted with two dimensionals. The satin ribbon is held on with a glue dot.

Filled With Love

I made this pretty card using the new Filled With Love set (availabe Jan. 4th), my Big Shot, the elegant bouquet embossing folder, and the scallop heart die. I also used the scallop lace punch, some red satin ribbon, and the new red glitter paper which I punched with the triple heart punch. The big hearts are embossed with red craft ink and clear embossing powder then punched out with the big heart punch. Don't you love how the scallop heart die and the big heart punch fit perfectly together? The words are embossed in white craft ink and white powder.

Filled With Love Scrapbooking Layout

This is the third layout for my class on Jan.7th. We will be making this wonderful Valentine's Day layout using the new Filled With Love bundle paper and stamp set. We will also be using the new red glitter paper which I am in love with. If you want to make this page along with the snowman layout and the yellow lattice layout just let me know you are coming so I can have your paper cut and ready for you. The class is at 6:30 on the 7th at my house. It is $20 to make the three 12x12 layouts. New scrapbookers are always welcome.

Valentine Defined Cards

I made these two cards using Valentine Defined. I love the little stretch of hearts. I stamped them in real red then colored over a few of them in pretty in pink. The top one has some punched hearts using the triple heart punch. I put a little crystal effects on the heart on the bottom card to make it pop. I cannot live without my Big Shot. I used the dotted folder and the new framed tulip folder for these cards. I also used Teeny Tiny Wishes, the scallop oval punch, and the two smallest oval punches. Of course I had to add ribbon. I just realized I did not use any rhinestones or pearls. I must be getting sick, lol!

I (Heart) Hearts Valentine's Card

I am tired of Christmas cards. On to Valentine's! This card was inspired by Sandy Hancock at sandystamper.com. I used the new red glitter paper. Oh la la, it is fabulous!! I also used I (Heart) Hearts and Teeny Tiny Wishes. I embossed the hearts and the saying with red craft ink and clear powder. These are on 11/4 circles which are on dimensionals. I used the new Framed Tulips folder and the Big Shot. You are going to love it! The ribbon is  red satin which I used a bit of sticky strip and scrunched the ribbon on it. Tht is a fun technique. The hearts were all punched out with the triple heart punch except for the larger dotted one. I used dimensionals to hold the white tulip frame off of the white card base.

Bird Punch Card

When I first saw the bird punch this is what I saw... two birds kissing! This card is whisper white, real red, and a touch of certainly celery. I used the scallop punch for the side lace. The side red pieces are actually the throw away pieces from the scallop punch. I hate to throw good paper away. The heart is the circle scallop Big Shot heart that I also ran through the Big Shot using the dotted folder. The words are from a retired set, sorry.
