Valentine Defined
This is a fun way to fold a card base. It is called a z fold. Cut, score, and fold the base as usual but then score and fold the front flap in half. It is still the same size card with a twist. I used Valentine Defined from the new spring mini for this. I colored on the rubber for the birds and flowers. I stamped the heart vine in red and colored in some of the hearts with a pink marker. I stamped the words in red. When the card is closed the words actually hide under the birds which have been double mounted on the scallop circle punches. I love how they fit inside each other. They are mounted with two dimensionals. The satin ribbon is held on with a glue dot.

Inspired By Nature
Inspired by nature is such a wonderful set.
It makes a beautiful card for any occasion. This time I paired chocolate chip with so saffron and old olive. I used the markers on the rubber technique where you color on the stamp with markers, huff, then stamp it on the paper. Next, I stamped the grass over the top of the flowers after I stamped off some of the color. I used narrow grosgrain ribbon in olive and the scallop punch to finish out the card.
