Beautiful Wings

So pretty! I just love the bright colors on the new Summer Smooch Designer Paper. If you have a Big Shot this card is simple to make. Don't forget to stamp the words then run it through the Big Shot. The wings on the butterflies are not taped down so they have a 3-D effect.

Cupcakes Scrapbook Layout

Look what you can do with a few punches, the cupcake wheel, and lots of color. I think for scrapbooking I love Stampin' Up! punches the most. They are quick and easy to use and always the perfect size. I offer scrapbooking classes about once a month. We make three 12 x 12 double layouts. The next class is April 20th at 7:00. Come on over and let me show you punches and stamps you can use for your scrapbooks. Email me for details about the class if you are interested. We made this cute layout last month.

The colors I used are real red, pumpkin pie, old olive, and tempting turquoise. This is a great color combo for both boys and girls.

Bright Blooms

I am getting ready for our April card making class. This is one we will be making. Isn't this bright and cheerful? You wouldn't believe how easy it is to make, especially since I do all the paper cutting! I would love for you to join us. In case you live to far away I will add the order numbers below so you can place a customer order through my demonstrator website. The set and designer DSP are from the new Summer Smooch special from Stampin' Up.

I started with a card that Mary Brown made and posted on her blog called StamperCamper's Corner. Mary is super talented!! I changed it up just a little and added the pop-up effect by cutting the real red base at 4 x 11 and then scoring it at 51/2 and 81/4. The large real red scallop square is attached to the front of the base on the bottom half only. The lucky limeade layer holds the scallop up beautifully. I used the stamp-a-ma-jig so I only had to stamp once. This is a handy little tool that you really do need to start using if you don't already.

Everybunny Easter Card

Like cute? Then set is for you! Stinkin' cute, as my friend Patty would say. Do you notice the curly ribbon? That is the sale-a-bration ribbon. I wrapped eight inches around a wooden skewer, lightly taped down both ends, then used my embossing gun and heated it up for a few seconds. The tighter you roll it, the tighter the curls. I cut the curled piece in half. I added a bow, too.
The bunny is colored with markers. I went around the entire image with a Sahara Sand marker after I colored her in. I also made her eye a bit larger. On the parts of the bunny that had shade lines I added a touch of Crumb Cake marker just to add highlights and shading. I gave her a cheek using a Pink Pirouette marker. Quick and easy!
Come on over Feb. 18th or 19th and make this card with us. I would love to have you!
