My goal today was to use things in my closet that I previously bought to stamp on. I found some retired Stampin' Up! bookmarks, jumbo paper clips, post-it notes, and some wedding favor boxes (bought at the Dollar Tree). I love how it all came together using Summer Silhouettes and Pursuit of Happiness. I had to cover the wedding bells on the box (both sides). For the post-it note pad I made a cover that was 3 x 6 1/2 and scored it at 3 and 3 1/2. I used Red Sticky Tape on the back inside to hold the pad in place. For the jumbo clip I taped a scallop to the back then used two dimensionals to adhere the second scallop to the first one, sandwiching the clip between the scallops. If you don't have any retired bookmarks it would be easy to cut some and use a corner rounder on the edges. I put Dazzling Diamonds on the pink flowers to give everything a pretty sparkle. What a fun little gift for a coworker or favorite teacher!

ReplyDeleteVery pretty Chris. I love the tags.
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris! I needed something this cute for gifts for my daughter's camp counselors! Yeah. They turned out great. Summer Silhouettes is such a fun stamp set to use. I used your basic idea and made a cover for a small notepad, a bookmark and 4 3x3 notecards, I'm going to cello package them and add a bag topper. Now, to make two more for the bus driver and aide.
ReplyDeleteGlad I could help!! I have discovered that putting them in the cello bags makes a huge difference. I am leaving one out for people to see and packaging the rest. Have fun stamping!!
