December Paper Pumpkin 2018
I have to say that I LOVE this Paper Pumpkin kit. I didn't when I first got it. I used a little creativity and a lot of retired things and came up with this. I really love it. The best thing is is that I can enjoy it for the next 18 months. That's right, it came with 18 months of calendar pages so it will last until June 2020. Whoooohoooo!
I decided to use some of my retired things simply because I could. We all buy and buy and buy. I rarely use the old stuff because I am too busy creating with the new sets. I am going to use more of what I have this year. But of course I will continue to buy and buy and buy, lol.
I found the picture stand at Michael's. It came with the silver clip attached. I could easily slip the paper underneath the clip. I chose the stripes from the Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper because it would match all the months yet it was subtle enough to fade into the background. It is cut at 4 1/2 x 5. I backed it with Coastal Cabana cut at 4 3/4 x 5 1/2. The ribbon is from the Paper Pumpkin kit. I used tear tape to attach the cardstock to the stand.
I cut all the calendar pages off just below the holes. I cut white cardstock at 3 1/4 x 1 to stamp on. The kit does come with stickers. I needed to be able to experiment so I cut my own. I back them with different colors of cardstock cut slightly smaller than 3 1/ 2 x 1 1/4.
