Bunny Basket and Pop-Up Card

This adorable punch art bunny looks so cute on both Easter baskets and cards! Use it to decorate this cute little treat basket or to put inside of an Easter pop-up card. Make both for the special little bunnies in your life! This project is also a fun class project!

Bunny Jar

I think I have bunnies on the brain! I opened my closet and this jar was staring at me. I could clearly see it needed a bunny head on it! These are the $1.49 jars from Hobby Lobby. I put one next to her so you could see it undecorated. I used the largest circle punch, 3/4 circle punch, 1/4 circle punch, the small heart from the triple heart punch, and the two smallest oval punches. Her whiskers are a very thin piece of black cardstock. I tied wide pink grosgrain around the lid and gave her a narrow ribbon pink bow. I sponged around everything in pretty in pink. I used a white get pen and a black marker for highlighting. I bent one of her ears over for the cute factor. Just don't ask me where all the spring colored M&Ms went. She must have hid them!

Bunny Easter Basket

I love using my punches!! I made this cute little bunny using the ornament punch, the two smallest oval punches, the triple heart punch, and the 3/4 and 1/4 inch circle punches.I used whipser white and pretty in pink cardstock. All the pieces were sponged with pink. I used a black marker and a white gel pen to add the highlights. The pumpkin pie box was cut with the box #2 die and my Big Shot. I used the small scallop punch on the lid edge and used the largest scallop punch that I cut up to make the leaves that are sticking up. I used the saying from Well Scripted, the 13/8 circle punch, and the small circle scallop punch for the saying. cute, huh?

Chick Basket

I had to make a buddy for my bunny. He is a little more boy friendly, too. I used the large scallop circle (daffodil delight) and my Big Shot for the body. His wings are the largest scallop punch that I cut down to six scallops. His cheeks are the 1/2 inch circle punch and his eyes are the 1/4 circle punch highlighted with a white get pen. I folded a piece of pumpkin pie in half and punched with the smallest oval punch. I only put the paper about 3/4 the way in to get it to double. I highlighted that with a black marker. His feet are the largest flowers from the boho blossom punch. I sponged the edges of everything before assembling. The box inside is the treat box cut out using my Big Shot. The handle is the double scallop punch held on with gold brads. His tail is the smallest scallop punch the a cut and folded to make it stand out.

Bunny Treat Box

I am so glad we can move on to the next holiday. I was getting tired of hearts. Isn't this bunny adorable? I made him using my Big Shot, the treat box, and the scallop circle die (need 2). I also punched 5 white large ovals (one is cut in half for his feet), 2 pretty in pink medium ovals, and a pink heart from the triple heart punch. His eyes are the 1/2 inch circle punch highlighted with a white gel pen, and his cheeks are the 1 inch circle punch. I used slivers of black cs for his whiskers. The handle is punched from the dotted scallop ribbon border held on with two pink brads. Everything is sponged with pretty in pink. I have a white cotton ball glued on to the scallop circle on the back of the box.
