Winter Frost DSP Curly Wreath

If you haven't made one of these curly wreaths yet you are missing out! It took about 2 hours from start to finish including a few breaks. It was worth every minute!!

I started with a 14 inch green Styrofoam base available at most craft stores. There are smaller bases available but like they say, Go big or go home! The curls are made from the Winter Frost Designer Series Paper cut into 1/2 inch strips. I used both of the foil accented papers and 5 out of the 10 other sheets in the pack. There are two each of 5 double sided designs and 2 foil accented pieces in each pack. To make the curls, hold each 1/2 inch strip in the center and use a bone folder to curl the ends like you would a piece of ribbon. Then use a straight pin to attach each curl onto the base.

Don't try to follow a pattern while adding the curly pieces. I gave that up after about the fifth piece. I jumbled the curled pieces up and just started grabbing them.
