Dashing Deer will make some wonderful Christmas cards this year. This one is quick and easy because you get two of the die cut embellishment dies shown in red here. Brilliant idea, Stampin' Up!!
To make this card punch out the blueberry circle and emboss the dots from Timeless Texture with white embossing powder. Don't forget to use your embossing buddy so you don't get white flecks everywhere. For stamping the words I used my Stamparatus because I was making multiples. One window for the red words on the front and the other window for the blueberry words inside. Emboss the front with the new swirls and curls embossing folder after you stamp the words. The deer is cut out of gold foil and mounted with dimensionals. Tie a tiny red bow and use a glue dot to attach it. The red die cut embellishments are glued on. Add the red stamp inside to dress it up even more. Very pretty!

Here are the supplies you will need. Feel free to click on any picture and order these from my store.

Thank you!

Detailed With Love Birthday Card

This is such a quick masculine card! I cut the layers using Broadway Bound paper layered on basic black card stock.

The dotted layer is 4 x 51/4. The striped layer is 4 x 23/4. The candle layer is 31/2 x 21/4. I cut the black layers 1/4 inch larger.

I wrapped black twine around the whole thing before taping it to the black card base.

I stamped Happy Birthday and the scrolly things in black on whisper white and punched it out using a 13/4 circle punch. It is mounted on a black 17/8 circle from the circle dies and a 2 inch gold foil circle using a punch.

The inside has a 3/4 inch strip of back card stock with a smaller 1/4 inch strip of paper from Broadway Bound mounted on it. The words are stamped in black and came from a retired set with a black scrolly thing stamped above it.

Colorful Seasons

I used Brusho on watercolor paper to make the colorful leaves on this card. On dry watercolor paper, sprinkle the paint powder. I used every color. Then with a spray bottle, spray water until you get the effect you want. Use a paper towel and blot up any puddles. Use a heat gun to set the colors. It looks ugly but it makes gorgeous leaves! I cut three out for each card. Hint: cut your watercolor paper narrow enough to fit through your Big Shot so you can get many out of one sheet.

The leaves on the front are taped on to white full leaves so they can be popped up using dimensionals. The top leaf is cut from the copper foil paper. The inside leaf is taped directly to the white card stock.

The little dots are punched from copper foil paper using a 1/8 hole punch. Punch these out of the Pretty Label Punch copper die cut before you mount the word on it.

The words are stamped in old olive and cut using an oval from the oval dies and mounted on a copper cut using the Pretty Label Punch. Put it on the embossed card front using dimensionals.

The thin line under the leaf on the inside is a strip of copper paper 1/4 inch thick.
