It doesn't get much easier than two step stamping! Stippled Blossoms allows you to stamp a quick card with both elegance and depth. Cut out the Whisper White and Wisteria Wonder shapes using your Big Shot and the Labels Collection Framelits. Stamp the words on the white label. Stamp both full flower images in Wisteria Wonder. Stamp over those images with the matching accent stamp in Perfect Plum. Stamp the full leaf images in Old Olive then use Old Olive again for the accent stamp over them. Attach the stamped white label to the Wisteria label. Run the second piece of white card stock through your Big Shot. Attach it to the Wisteria base. Attach the labels to it using Dimensionals.  After the card is assembled go over the darker stamped areas of both the flowers and the leaves with Dazzling Details. Such beauty!

Organizing Scraps

I am so sorry I have been MIA. I have been cleaning and reorganizing my craft room. I finally have it set up and ready to go! The main reason I did it was so I can have craft time for small groups. I think there were 7-8 of us for the first Crafting With Chris. Ladies came over and made whatever they wanted to. Some were scrapbooking, some were making cards, and some were making small gifts. I set up my room where they could see what I have that they can use. We had a great time!

 

This is how I have organized my scraps now. They are in a file folder tub. In each file folder is a bag for each color. I have the colors grouped together (all blues, all yellows, etc.), tagged by name (computer generated tags), and in alphabetical order. I have never been happy with using scraps until now. The light weight tub can sit on the floor next to me or on a table if I am alone. Love it!

Best of Buterflies

 

This card is actually stamped and embossed on a window sheet! It was really easy. Be sure to use the embossing buddy so you don't get white specs all over it. The card front is randomly stamped with the flower from Blooming With Kindness, Pool Party ink on Pool Party card stock. The butterflies and words are embossed white craft ink with white embossing powder. It is attached to the card with ribbon strung through holes made with a hole punch through both the window sheet and card. There is another Pool Party flower stamped on the inside.

Backyard Basics

 

Backyard Basics is one of those great sets that has the matching framelits so you don't have to cut out anything. The bundle number for the set and framelits is 132728 for $36.50. Ordering them as a bundle will save you 15%! I also made this card using Crisp Cantaloupe and it is just as pretty. I added ribbon to the bottom of that one. Outlining the flowers and stems with a Sahara Sand Marker before you cut them out really makes them pop. I do that on a lot of my cards.

Secret Garden

 

You just can't go wrong with pink and green. This card would make anybody feel better! The embossing was easy. All I did was run the paper through my Big Shot in one direction then flip it over and run it through in the other direction. Yes, there is a line down the middle but I covered it up so it didn't matter. It is easier to stamp the words first then stamp the leaves around it. The flowers are held on with dimensionals and so are the flower centers.  Stamping the inside makes your card just a little more special. I stamp my envelopes, too.

This card is made using one of the many available bundles in the Stampin' Up! catalog. You can purchase the stamp set called Flower Shop and the Pansy Punch together and save 15% (page 95), or you can purchase the set and punch separately. I used the Honeycomb Embossing Folder, the Little Leaves Thinlits Die, and my Big Shot, too. Do you see the brads on the flower centers? Those are actually a new item called Candy Dots. They come in all the color families. You can even purchase little brads and add the Candy Dots to the tops of the brads. Very cute!
