Spooktacular Bash
Emboss the coffin lid, glue the lids and bottoms together, add some decorations to the top, then slip in a few pieces of candy. Quick and simple! I used Spooktacular Bash and the coordinating dies called Ornate Frames for this one. Stampin' Up blends make coloring a breeze.

Lovely as a Tree
Have you seen the foil paper in the sale-a-bration catalog? Not only is it beautiful it is also FREE!! With each $50 purchase from Stampin' Up! you get to choose something free out of a special catalog. Choose this foil paper! You get 4 sheets of Grapefruit Grove and 4 sheets of Lovely Lipstick. For this project I used Grapefruit Grove.
The Old Olive card base is 11 x 4 1/4, scored at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2.
The Cajun Craze layers are cut at 5 1/4 x 4 and 2 1/2 x 4.
The Very Vanilla layers are cut at 5 x 3 3/4 and 1 1/4 x 3 3/4.
The Wood Textures paper is cut at 3 1/2 x 2.
Stamp the trees from Lovely as a Tree in Early Espresso ink. You will need to stamp them twice to stretch across the bottom edge from right to left.
Use sponge daubers to add the colors to the trees. I started with Old Olive so it didn't get muddied up. I swirled on the Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, and Cajun Craze ink in small areas until I had color everywhere. Be careful with the darker colors making sure to use a very light touch. I added more Crushed Curry over the other colors in the end. It seemed to brighten them all. You will need to repeat this process on the edges of the smaller Very Vanilla piece.
Attach the Wood Texture piece to the swirled Very Vanilla piece. Wrap and tie a the Old Olive thread around this before attaching it to the Cajun Craze piece. Attach all of this to the front flap.
Using the leaf from Seasonal Layers, cut out two leaves from the Grapefruit Grove foil paper. Do not remove all of the tiny cut pieces from the leaves. Use mini dimensionals to attach the leaves to the Wood paper.
For the words (from Humming Along) I used the daubers to the add the ink to the rubber stamp in small areas until it was covered with the olive, curry, pumpkin, and cajun inks then I stamped it above the trees. Be sure to stamp off the ink left on the daubers onto scrap paper in the end because this will muddy up the ink on the dauber. for future projects.
Attach the layers for the inside and you are finished. I did stamp the left corner of the envelope with a few of the trees and swirl some color on it but that is optional of course.

All crafters share the same New Years goal. We are all going to use what we have already bought, lol. This is my second use it up creation! I found the wooden snowman head at Hobby Lobby months ago. I knew his hat needed something so I stuffed it in my craft closet to think about it.
I pulled it out and added about 30 minutes worth of time. Look how adorable he is! And since its just a winter thing I can actually display him right now.
The dies are from the special snowflake dies Stampin' Up sold around Christmas. It was a one month special. I used dazzling diamond glimmer paper, dimensionals, and rhinestones. A quick project that is now out of the closet and on display. Hooray!!
What can you find to decorate with the snowflake dies? A candle? A picture frame? A scrapbook page? They are beautiful!!
